Professionalism in Practice: A Local Perspective

   This CLE, taped on August 4, 2011, featured Chief Justice Sarah Parker and a host of local judicial officials. The discussion centered around professionalism in the 28th Judicial District Bar, and included a the following speakers: The Honorable Alan Z. Thornburg; The Honorable Calvin J. Hill; The Honorable Rebecca Knight; The Honorable Ronald Moore; The Honorable LeAnn Melton; The Honorable Steven D. Cogburn; and the Honorable Martin Reidinger. There was also a panel discussion with six local attorneys, focusing on the historical perspective. The CLE ended with an optional hour of substance abuse CLE, "The Light and Life at the End of the Tunnel: The Challenge of Mental Health and Substance Abuse," a talk by John Sarratt.

   The video replay will will begin at 12:40 on Wednesday, February 22, and end at 5 p.m. Held at the Pisgah Legal Services Conference Room, the CLE is pending approval for 2.5 hours of ethics, and 1 hour of substance abuse credit.
