NC State Bar Membership Fees - Pay Online for 2012

Save yourself time, effort, and go green!  Pay your 2012 membership fees and complete your annual mandatory IOLTA certification online.  To access your account, click here.  Once logged in, click on the “membership” tab.  Then just follow the prompts at the bottom of the page.

To pay by check you must mail-in your completed 2012 (paper) invoice with payment. You can find your 2012 invoice online by following the same login instructions above, and then follow the prompt to print your 2012 invoice.   As customary, after December 1, 2011 you will receive a paper invoice via mail if you have not already paid your 2012 membership fees.

If you plan to seek inactive status you must submit an inactive petition by December 31, 2011 to avoid the 2012 membership fees, and to have your petition considered at the January 2012 State Bar Council meeting.  Members who are granted inactive status at the January 2012 State Bar Council meeting will not be required to pay 2012 membership fees.  To obtain an inactive petition, click here.

*Members on full-time active military duty are exempt from paying membership fees and from making an IOLTA certification; however, you must return your invoice (indicating date of military service) to receive the exemption.  Reservists and National Guard members must be recalled to active duty for 180 consecutive days to be exempt.
