Biography:
Asheville native, and Reynolds High School. Graduate of University of Tennessee-Knoxville (Accounting) and Duke Law School (J.D.). Worked several years in the Tax Division of Arthur Andersen & Co., CPA's, Atlanta, Georgia. Practiced Law for 20+ years in Asheville, with concentrations in Tax, Corporate and Real Property Law. Taught Business Law classes at UNC-Asheville as an Adjunct Associate Professor in 1990's. Since 2000, have been an owner of a real estate school and teacher of real estate courses. Have also been a co-owner of Course Doctors, Inc., a golf course construction and renovation firm headquartered in Flat Rock, NC, since 1994.
