Biography:
Sarah Patterson (‘Patsy’) Brison is a partner at Roberts & Stevens bringing more than 28 years of legal expertise in matters of local government law, construction, zoning and land use.
Representing the government and private sector, she has a diverse clientele that includes government and individual property owners, contractors and subcontractors.
Patsy is a seasoned litigator appearing at all levels of state and federal court as well as various local and state boards and commissions. She is also a Superior Court Certified Mediator by the N. C. Dispute Resolution Commission, successfully representing clients in mediations and arbitration.
Patsy continues to be an inspiration to many women within the legal profession. Her passion as an attorney and commitment to serving others naturally flows from her long history of community service. She has been involved with the Girl Scouts at both the national and local levels, is a member of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and is also an ordained elder of the Presbyterian Church of the USA.
Patsy has been recognized in the publication, Best Lawyers in America in the specialty sections of Land Use and Zoning Law and Litigation and Administrative Law in 2008-2012. She has also received the North Carolina Bar Association Citizen Lawyer Award in 2008 and a Girl Scouts of America Thanks Badge.
